ACT REFORM COALITION We've become aware of a Wilderness Act Reform Coalition, launched this summer from a base in Pocatello, Idaho, to "act as a clearing house for examples of problems with the Act and help build the case to amend it. It will educate the public, the media, and policy makers about these problems and the ways the solve them. . . . The Coalition's Internet site, www.wildernessreform.com . . . will be the primary communication mechanism in all of these efforts." We recommend this resource to the web-literate, and particularly an article published on the site, "The Trouble with Wilderness," in which an Arizona Game and Fish Department manager describes in detail the obstructions various provisions of the Act pose to him in his job.
