ALABAMA'S CONTINUING ED INCENTIVE The Alabama Loggers Council's self-funded Workers' Comp program, ForestFund, has announced that it will provide a 2% discount off its WCI premiums to insured Fund members who have completed a minimum of six hours in its voluntary continuing education program, which began this year as a supplementary program to ALC's Professional Logging Management course. Approximately 40 loggers have applied for the credit. ALC says that a minimum number of hours in its continuing education program, or in an approved alternative, will be a requirement for maintaining Alabama Professional Logging Management status in 2000.
