Spill Kits for Loggers Available The strong interest in FRA's training program, Hazardous Chemical Spill Prevention and Control for Logging Operations, has prompted inquiries about an inexpensive and convenient "spill kit" suitable for containing fluid spills most associated with in-woods operations. FRA worked with a provider, Breg International, which has made available a "9040-FRA Combo Vehicle Spill Kit," designed to soak up petroleum based spills-motor oil, diesel, hydraulic fluid, and antifreeze-from trucks, skidders, chippers, and other machines. The kits, available to FRA members @ $38.00, are packaged in clear vinyl zipper bags for convenient in-cab storage.
