FRA Reissues Private Landowner Orientation Brochures

FRA has revised and reissued its popular full-color six-panel brochures, designed as hand-outs to orient private landowners who may be considering their first timber harvest. Tips To Consider When Selling Your Timber outlines the basic issues surrounding a timber sale, discussing development of a forest management plan, the legal aspects of preparing for a sale, drawing up a contract, and where to go for forestry advice. How To Choose A Quality Logger explains how to find and evaluate logging contractors and lists some of the criteria of logger professionalism.

Single copies of either publication cost $2.00 apiece; sets of 50 of either cost $35.00. Please click here for an order form with more detailed information. (Adobe® Acrobat® Reader, available at no cost from Adobe, is necessary to view).
