FRA Reissues Support Staples on November 13! The sponsors of the March 29 "Day of Action Against Staples" have designated Tuesday, November 13, for another such day of protest and confrontation. FRA, along with the Pulp and Paperworkers' Resource Council and treekeepers.org, is again recommending that pro-forestry people take time on November 13 to drop by a Staples store and make a friendly contact. Write a pro-forestry message on a 3x5 card-"Thank you for selling products manufactured from trees, a renewable resource"-and deliver it to the manager while making a purchase. Provide a copy of the sheet debunking ForestEthics' claims and demands (to bring it up, please click here). The people at Staples need to know who their friends are.
