Rockville, MD – The Forest Resources Association is ready to take
your registration to attend FRA’s 71st Annual Meeting, focused on
“Wood Fiber Supply Chain Relationships,” at the Hotel Inter-Continental in
New Orleans, March 5-7.
How is the U.S. wood fiber supply chain functioning today? How is it
changing? What paradigms are already in place, and what pathways should we
follow to ensure a successful future?
Jim McNutt, Executive Director of the Center for Paper Business and
Industry Studies, will headline Monday’s General Session with a talk on
“Hidden Issues/Hidden Values.” A special forum will follow on “The
South American Experience” to help attendees compare and contrast U.S.
systems with those of off-shore industries operating under the same
competitive global pressures as we are.
The Forest Operations Services and Equipment Review Monday morning,
March 7, will highlight innovative products and technologies from FRA
Associate members, accompanied by special presentations on key issues
relevant to tomorrow’s supply chain management. The Exhibitors Hall will
be open all day Monday, as well, with a Log A Load For Kids® silent
auction fundraiser culminating with a live auction at Monday evening’s
Annual Awards Dinner.
National Committee sessions extend through Saturday and Sunday (March
5-6). All attendees are welcome to attend and participate in these
sessions, where topics are discussed and debated and the Association’s
policies are forged.
For best rates, be sure to register by January 31! To reserve a
room within the FRA hotel block at the Inter-Continental, please reserve
it with the hotel by February 12. For the latest available program
