FRA RELEASES LATEST PULPWOOD STATISTICS SUMMARY

Rockville, MD – The Forest Resources Association has published its updated Annual Pulpwood Statistics Summary Report: 1999-2003, a compilation of reports submitted to FRA’s annual pulpwood statistic program from the nation’s 157 wood-using pulp mills for the calendar year 2003. The Report summarizes the pulpwood receipt and inventory data, as well as the amount of wood fiber burned for energy production during 2003.

The 37-page Report, including 13 tables and 7 charts, presents breakdowns of the following data:

  • U.S. Pulpwood Receipts

  • U.S. Pulpwood End-of-Year Inventory

  • Energy Chip Receipts and End-of-Year Inventory 

It also includes an up-to-date list of U.S. wood-using pulp mills and recently closed mills.

FRA members may purchase the Annual Pulpwood Statistics Summary Report: 1999-2003 (04-A-04) @ $100.00. The Report is available to non-members for $200.00.
