The Evergreen Foundation is an educational organization which researches and publishes a journal, Evergreen Magazine, which treats specific issues on sustainable forestry topics. Its web site provides a list of back issues, and topics treated in them, with ordering information, as well as other useful information and background on forestry and the environment.

Project Learning Tree (PLT) material established by the American Forest Council in Washington, DC. PLT provides teacher lesson plans and curriculums that present balanced environmental messages for grades K through 12.

The Pulp and Paperworkers' Resource Council has developed good pro-forestry material for kids. Sharing the Forest consists of a video & speakers guide. Two coloring books are also available.

The Temperate Forest Foundation is quickly building real credibility as a resource for teachers, both through its web site and its regional tours.
