PULP & PAPERWORKERS RESOURCE COUNCIL (PPRC)

MISSION: The mission of the Pulp & Paperworkers Resource Council is to establish a grassroots coalition concerned with fiber supply, forest practices, the endangered species act, and our environment in a way that promotes knowledge and political activism, so that we may influence legislation that affects our jobs.

ACTIVITIES:

  • Organizes an annual PPRC National Fly-In to Washington, DC.

  • Holds regional meetings.

  • Publishes regional newsletters.

  • Publishes action alerts.

  • Publishes position papers.

  • Lobbies state and national legislators and regulators.

  • Develops educational material for primary school children.

  • Organizes grassroots groups and activities.
