PEOPLE FOR THE USA (PFUSA)

MISSION: The mission of People for the USA is to bring together people in support of strong communities, vigorous economies, and healthy environments.

GOALS:

  • To urge continued multiple use management of federal public lands for agriculture, livestock grazing, mining, oil and gas production, recreation, timber harvesting, and water development activities.

  • To support individual private property rights without government intervention.

  • To provide a balance of environmental responsibility and economic benefit for all Americans.

  • To build nationally, community grassroots chapters that communicate the importance of traditional public and private lands use to our elected and appointed decision-makers.

  • To offer our membership information about federal, state and local issues that confront all segments of our society and are specific to our mission.

ACTIVITIES:

The People for the USA campaign builds and supports grassroots chapters that effect change within the system. Working together to ensure that job security and strong communities are protected, we challenge proposed legislation that affects the multiple use law of the land and endorses overzealous environmental regulations that put nature before human beings. We fight against excessive government regulation that impedes our American freedoms.

Professional field coordinators organize grassroots members at the local level to help educate the public and communicate the importance of PFUSA views to elected leaders and media to affect policy changes.

Provides extensive training for community chapter leaders to achieve PFUSA goals.

Publishes a monthly newspaper.

Organizes an annual conference.
